The San Gorgonio Education Foundation relies on local fundraising events to raise money for students and classrooms.
2017 Design/Art Contest
Students may submit up to three pieces, photographs, paintings, sketches, or art of any media (clear pictures of sculptures, showing four sides/perspectives, and a photo of the artist's signature or insignia should be included) are welcome. Photographs may be submitted digitally without watermark (digital imprints in the lower righthand corner connoting the artist's name is fine). Entries into this year's contest should reflect the theme "Places in Banning" (the definition and translation of what that means is up to each artist). Artists will be required to sign a waiver for each submission, allowing winning designs to be used for publicity, and for use as artwork on the covers of note cards, which the foundation uses to sell as a fundraiser to support this and other programs. Submissions may be turned in to the main office at Nicolet, Coombs and New Horizons, and to counselor Janelle Poulter's office at the high school, or to the San Gorgonio Education Foundation's mailbox at the district office. Deadline for submissions is Friday, March 3 by noon. Questions may be directed to foundation president and contest chairman David Heiss at 951-849-4586 x114, or email@example.com .
